Arundo donax Peppermint Stick is a large growing reed that can get up to 10 feet tall. It is very hardy even here in zone 6. Plants keep the variegation all summer with out fading as the regular variegated form will fade to green by the end of summer.

Awesome selection with bold white and cream variegation that does not fade as the season progresses. Awesome is a mandatory descriptor for any perennial that is 12 feet tall. 8" tawny plumes in late summer are nice but hardly needed. Likes it moist to wet and not found to be invasive.
